Hello Blogosphere!

I'm Matt, the humbly arrogant Misanthropic Economist. For those of you who don't know, a misanthrope is one who hates or distrusts his fellow men. Everyday I spend around people, watching TV, or on the Web tends to confirm my ill feeling toward humanity. I am an economist by training and more importantly by nature. I'm currently an agricultural economics instructor. I plan on pursuing a PhD in economics within the next couple of years.

Due to my misanthropic nature, I will be posting various critiques of my fellow man and what I find to be his folly. Most of these will be of an economic nature, but anything else that gets in my cross hairs is fair game as well.
